Short C.V.
Vasileios Tzimourtos was born in Larissa. He graduated from the University of Piraeus, Department of Informatics (2006), he holds a Master of Science degree in «Advanced Information Systems» specializing in Network Centric Information Systems (2008) from the same university and a Master of Science degree in «Research Methodology in Biomedicine, Biostatistics and Clinical Bioinformatics» (2017) from the University of Thessaly. He has successfully completed the Pedagogical and Teaching Proficiency Program (EPPAIK) of ASPAITE - Volos Annex (2011). He holds the following certifications: CCENT, CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security, CCNA Wireless, CCNA Cyber Ops and MCTS Windows Server Virtualization 2008.
Since 2009 has worked in the field of IT for the private sector and as a freelancer filling various positions (Programming, Systems Management, System Security, Support 1st & 2nd level User) with several companies and organizations in the sector (A.U.Th, GRNET, U.Th, Cyprus eGroup Services, Academic Internet - GUNET, Bee Group, V.E.T. Dimitra, ICT Europe etc.). He has previously taught IT courses for TEI of Thessaly as a lab assistant and for IEK Larissa (1st and 2nd) and Trikala as a trainer.
From April 2016 is appointed as Special Technical Laboratory Staff (Technical Staff) for the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly.
