Dr. Victoria Bellou

Dr. Victoria Bellou is a Professor of Management at the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly, Director of the Graduate Program Entrepreneurship and Director of the Management Lab of the Department.
She has previously taught at the Hellenic Open University, numerous graduate programs of the University of Macedonia and English-taught graduate programs of the former TEI of Larisa. In addition to her teaching experience, Dr. Bellou has participated in several research programs and she has also served at a Human Resources Department, at a Greek group of firms.
 
She holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, a postgraduate degree (MBA) from University of Macedonia and undergraduate degree from the University of New Haven, USA. During her studies, she got scholarships from the Public Benefit Foundation Alexander S. Onassis Foundation Scholarship, the University of Macedonia, the Greek-American Foundation “Order of Ahepa” and the University of New Haven, CT., USA.
 
Her research interests include the examination of employee and consumer behavior, the human resource management, the management of change, management of public organizations and small medium enterprises. The most important journals she has published research at are: Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Organizational and Occupational Psychology, Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Public Management Journal, Career Development International and Employee Relations.
